Situated in the heart of the Khumbu Region 5,644m above sea level, making it the highest altitude reached on most EBC treks at over 300m above Everest Base Camp. The 16-18 day iconic trek begins with visiting UNESCO listed cultural site of Kathmandu Valley. On the first day following a panoramic flight to Lukla (2860m, the gateway to Mt.Everest on the next day.  A day hiking to Namche Bazaar takes us to verdant fields and hillsides covered in rhododendrons. Likewise, one day of acclimatization in Namche Bazaar and hiking to nearby hilltops and Hotel Everest View the highest placed hotel in the world offers you a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. Continue trek passes by various up and down trails. With the mesmerizing sight of mountain peaks in the foreground as well as backgrounds. Walking through Sagarmatha National Park and visiting beautiful villages like Tengboche Pheriche Lobuche Gorak Shep. And green pasture lands we finally reach Kala Patthar.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu (1340M)

Real Adventure representative welcomes you to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and transfers you to the Hotel in the center of Kathmandu. After checking into Hotel, you will have a rest, freshen yourself, and get ready for trekking. Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel Meal: No

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu city tour

Kathmandu is a historical place that inhabits cultures varying from the medieval era to the present age. Kathmandu city is embellished with eight UNESCO-listed world heritage sites that embodied cultural, architectural, and ancient wooden crafts and are also known as the city of temples. Pashupatinath, Syambhunath(monkey temple), and Boudhanath are holy places for Hindus and Buddhists respectively. The Durbar Squares like Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square are places that exhibit grandiose architecture, historical monuments, and cultural ceremonies. Besides that Chagunarayan, Golden Temple, Ghantaghar, and other places are worth visiting in Kathmandu city. Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel Meal: Breakfast

Day 03: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phadking (2700m)

We will catch the first flight from Kathmandu to fly to scenic Lukla Airport. When the flight takes off from Kathmandu it immediately flies over the snowcapped mountains of Everest regions, green hills, and some hamlets of eastern Nepal for 35 minutes. Our tour operator and guide will welcome us in Lukla and arrange the trek, and then we hike to Phakding. Phakding is a beautiful village with Chorten, praying flags, inscribed Mani walls, monasteries, and praying wheels with warm hospitality. Overnight in Parking. Day 04: Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m)

After comfy accommodation in Phakdin, we follow the trail alongside Dudh Koshi River in the pine forest until we reach Benker valley. While climbing up, pause Zamphuti to view the beauty of Thamserku peak, the sky warding opposite direction. After Benakar valley, crossing the suspension bridge we hike up to Chumoa, where we can see the agricultural farm. Walking up and down trails until we cross a small stream we reach the small village of Monjo. Waking through Sagarmatha National Park for some minute we step down, cross the small stream we reach Jhorsale with the views of Mt. Everest peeking over the ridge of Nuptse (7879m) the trail reaches the street of Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Accommodation: Guest Hose Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche (3420)

Namche Bazaar is the main city of the Khumbu region that houses luxurious hotels, restaurants, government offices banks, ATM cards, and many provisions. Namche Bazaar has ample choices to explore. Hiking to Everest View hotel is mostly chosen option where we can enjoy cool and cloudless sunrise over the mountain peaks like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Konde, and a few others. If it interests you, you can trek to Khumjung Village to observe the monastery that has ostensible Yeti scalp and the school built by Sir Edmund Hillary's Himalayan Trust. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Day 06: Namche to Tengboche (3850m)

After acclimatization day in Namche, today we ascend an elevation of 400m hiking on the easier trail. On the way, we walk beside the agriculture project, with a glimpse of small monasteries until we reach Phakdin from where we walk on a slightly steep road until we reach the entrance of Tengboche. Tengboche is a beautiful hamlet, which is well known for the historic Tengboche monastery, one of the ancient monasteries in the Everest region. Tengboche monastery, situated in Sagarmatha National Park is a holy place for the Sherpa people who follow Buddhism, and a vantage point for the panoramic sight of Himalayas, like Mt.Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse Thamskru, and Ama Dablam. If we reach before 3.00 pm, we will enjoy the peaceful mantras of monks and spot Buddhist ceremonies. Overnight in Tengboche. Accommodation: Guest Hose Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 07: Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m) /Dingboche (4350m)

Our trail goes up and we walk throughout a green forest blooming with multicolor rhododendron flowers with good views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. A short downhill trek takes us to Dovuch, where we cross the Imja river and reach Pangboche. A slight downhill trek via pasture field leads us to Shomara and after Shomara we walk uphill towards Orsho village. From Orsho the trails bisect Dingboche or Pheriche. Walking across Imja Valley and Lobuche River we reach Dingboche. But if we walk up the hill above Pheriche - there is a spot at about 5,100m that has stunning views of the valleys and Ama Dablam and this place offers more accommodation and health posts. If we choose the trail towards the upper Pangboche trail we will reach Pangboche monastery which offers a view of snowcapped peaks. Walking amid Imja Valley alongside Lobuche River we go Dingboche. Dingboche is a peaceful village decorated with a green and brown terrace of barley, potato, and buckwheat. Overnight in Pheriche. Accommodation: Guest Hose Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 08: Acclimatization day

Pheriche and Dingboche both are perfect stopovers for acclimatization. Pheriche is a peaceful village, where we can visit Himalaya Rescue Association and get some tips for trekking at high altitudes. Ascending above Pheriche from the hilltop we can enjoy the view of the mountain range. A day break in Dingboche consists of an alluring view of Lothse, Lobuche West, Lobuche East Makalu, Cho Oyu, Cholaste, and Taboche. Amazing Sunrise from teahouses, visiting Buddhist Stupa, and assimilation with local people are the main leisure activities in Dingboche. We can visit the monastery in the west south of Dingboche. Day 09: Pheriche/Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m)

Today we start our journey amid the Himalayas as if we are surrounded by Himalayans in every direction. From now the routes seem narrower and slope until we reach Dusa where we visit Campsite that was used during the first successful Everest Expedition in1953. While walking slowly uphill, we see Mt.Pumari in front of the view, but when we move ahead, after some time we leave Mt. Pumori behind us. After crossing the small stream we begin to soar to the sharp deadly glacial deposit of Khumbu Glacier and then to Dugla valley where we can see hanging prayer flags dancing in wind. On the way, we visit Chupki Lahara, an edge with a mesmeric view of Mt.Everest and stone shrines of the climbers who lost their life while climbing Mt.Everest. Descend steps to Khumbu Glacier provide us a captivating facing view of Mahalangur Himal, Khumbuste, Lintren, and Pumori, and finally, we stretch our legs in Lobuche from where we see Mt.Nuptse. Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5160m)

Lobuche to Gorak Shep is a very short upward trek that offers a grandiose view of Mt. Pumori. We walk on the glacier route for a while and in the afternoon we reach Gorak Shep. Gorakshep is the trailhead for Kalapather and Everest Base Camp. Overnight in Gorak Shep. Accommodation: Guest Hose Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11: Site trip to Kalapattar and Everest Base Camp

Today we eat breakfast early in the morning and hike up to Kala Patthar. The trail is steep with a lot of rough rocks and the weather is cold with a fairly strong wind blowing. The spectacular view of Changtse, Khumbuste, and Lingtren snow peaks give urges us and we become a more exciting close-up look at Mt.Everest. The view from the top of Kala Patthar is panoramic and we get the sublime pleasure to have the world's tallest mountain enfacing us. The stunning view of the northern edge and top of Lhotse, Nuptse, and Changtse is also panoramic. In Kala Patthar, we can observe The Mount Everest Webcam installed at an altitude of 5675m. With a heart full of happiness and the fresh memory of the world's tallest mountain and of course, the best moments captured in the camera, we descend back to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay. On the same day, we can choose to climb up to Everest Base Camp. After a short trek through the ice field road, we reach Everest Base Camp. The place is surrounded by mountain peaks like Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori. When we reach the spot we will see the mob of trekkers, colorful tents, and a kind of overwhelming scenario. Beautiful blue glacial, unbelievable melting arrays, ice sculptures, and Khumbu glacier, an enclosed ice valley between Everest and Lothse are the major attraction of Everest Base Camp. Immersing in the fascinating scenery of EBC we return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay. Accommodation: Guest Hose Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12: Everest Base Camp to Pheriche

Today we trek back to Pheriche passing through Lobuche and Tholke village on the way. Trekker feels much easier today as the trails go downhill with a stunning view of mountains. Pheriche is the best place to take a rest and for refreshment, as it houses restaurants and lodges also. Overnight in Pheriche. Accommodation: Guest Hose Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 13: Pheriche to Tengboche

We walk down through the forest with rhododendron flowers of various colors, Himalayan shrubs, and herbs along with the twittering sound of birds of several species. A short descent walk leads us to Orsho and then, we walk downhill to Tengboche and visit monasteries, and hang around the local area. Overnight in Tengboche. Day 14: Tengboche to Namche

Today we will walk straight way for a few minutes and then move downhill in a plain sailing route covered with rhododendron, pine, and juniper trees along with a bank of Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the bridge over Dudh Koshi River we descend via a green fine forest where we get a glimpse of birds like pheasant, Lophophorus impedance (National birds of Nepal), snow pigeon, and animals like Himalayan Thar and mountain goats. The downhill trail gradually enters Sansa village from where the view of Nuptse, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam is incredible, and then we reach Namche Bazaar for an overnight stay. Day 15: Namche to Lukla

Today is the last day trekking in the Himalayas. Along with the natural beauty, the social part of people is worth observing today. The trail is crowded with tourists and trekkers from various parts of the world. The traffic of porters, who make our trek possible, the yaks carrying heavy loads of stuff, and the local people are the open books to get an insight into the social life of local people. Today we will walk beside Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and bidding farewell to various settlements. As it is the last day of your trek please make the best of the way and feel free to enjoy the moment that you missed while moving uphill. Overnight in Lukla. Day 16: Lukla to Kathmandu

We leave the Himalayas region by catching the first flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we can have better rest in a hotel or plan the sightseeing for other places in Katmandu valley. Doing souvenir shopping in the tourist hub area is the best option. We can arrange it according to your plan. In the evening we will have a farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant with cultural shows, cherishing the moment of successful accomplishment of your journey. Day 17: Leasure day in Kathmandu

We allow a Leisure day in Kathmandu in case the flight from Lukla is canceled due to weather. If you are in Kathmandu we will take you on a guided tour to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, one of the oldest cities in the valley. Day 18: Final departure

We conclude our journey today. Our guest attendant will help you drop by at Kathmandu airport and bid adieu. The above-mentioned itinerary can be reduced or extended according to your time permits.
