Annapurna short trek with Kathmandu Pokhara city tour

After breakfast we go for 7-8hrs Kathmandu city tour. First we will move to Swayambhunath, Buddhist shrine in hilltop flagged with colorful praying flags, Stupa with Boudhha eyes. This pilgrimage site is also known as Monkey temples from where we can view of almost entire kathmnadu city on its all sides sand beautiful mountain to the north .Then we move to Kathmandu Durbar Square(King's Palace), a historical place with ancient architectures, arts and historical monuments and giant Statue of Kal Bhairav and other Hinsu temples. After Kathmandu Durbar Square, we go to Patan Durbar Square to observe 14th century architecture, stone temples and water taps, along with museum. While walking around Patan Durbar Square we get chance to closely observe Newari culture and feasts which display indigenous tradition. On the way to Budhhanath, we stop by Pashupatinath Temple, the world famous Hindu temple. In Budhhnath we observe largest Stupa surrounded by shops with Tibetan handicrafts. Today we leave Kathmandu early morning via Prithivi highway alongside of Trisuli river with majestic view of riverside farming terraces and rural settlements. Breakfast is available on the way. After crossing bridge over Trisuli River in Mugling, we enter to Gandaki region and follow the highway throughout Tanahu district to Kaski(Pokhara). After check in Hotel and having lunch we visit the admirable Fewa Lake, enjoy boating, visit island temple called Talbarahi with stunning view of Fishtail Mountain. After breakfast we take a 30 minute drive to reach Dhampus Phedi via Pokhara Baglung Highway, leaving Pokhara Valley behind. As we start getting elevation we enjoy picturesque view of Pokhara to sought and the mountain ranges to the north. After reaching the trek starting point Dhapus Phedi we commence our trek following the upnhill trails via green forest, paddy fields for 3 hours until we reach to Dhampus. Dhampus is antique village dominated by ethnic group Gurung people with traditional culture and great hospitality nature. After reaching Dhampus we can visit the village around enjoy exotic view of Machhapuchchhre(Fishtail) and other mountains of Annapurana range. Wake up early morning to catch glimpse of Sunrise from mountains and have breakfast. Above the Dhampus we get clear view of mountain ranges. First we ascend through forest on the stone paves steps until we reach to Pothana. After Pothana we reach to Deurali Pass on the west side of Modi river that originates from glacier drain of Annapurna Sanctuary. After Deurali we descend again through forest of rhodorendron and pine trees until we enter into Tolka and Bherikharka. Few minute walk through farming terraces takes us to campsite in Landruk. After breakfast, we descend towards Modi River for an hour. After crossing the bridge nearby Bee Hive Teahouse Lodge we trek up to Ghandru via various hamlets, forests and farming terraces of hill area for 3-4 hours in a smooth route. On the way we enjoy the majestic view of Himalayan ranges, encounter local peoples and fellow trekkers. Upon arriving Ghndruk, a traditional village with indigenous culture of Gurung people, we will enjoy close up view of Gangappurna, Machhapuchre, Annapurna and other snowy capped peaks. We can also visit ACAP (ANNAPURNA CONSERVATION AREA PROJECT) head office, local museum and village. Overnight in Guest House/LodgeMeal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today we bid farewell to Ghandruk and walk for last day. After breakfast, we walk down to Syauli Bazar passing Kimse on the way back. Today we will walk for 5 hrs via paddy terraces and beautiful villages like Birethati until we reach to Nayapul from where we take half an hour drive to Pokhara. Early morning before dawn we depart to Sarankot hill to catch the glimpse of Sunrise from Annappurna Mountain Range along with panoramic view of Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and other snowy capped mountains. From Sarankot we can see entire Pokhara valley. While returing on the way we visit Mahendra and Bat caves, Barahi Temples. After Lunch we will visit David Fall, scary gorge of Seti River which claimed life of Swiss tourist. Then we visit World Peace Pagoda on the hill top from where we enjoy enchanting view of Pokhara and mountain ranges. If time allows short drive to BegnasLake and Rupa Lake. Drive or Fly back to Kathmandu If you want to fly back to Kathmandu, flights are available in every hour and by bus it takes six hours to reach Kathmandu through Pokhara-Muglin-Kathmandu(206km) road. Check in Hotel and have rest. Overnight in Hotel.Evening: Typical Nepalese dinner with cultural dance at local restaurant.
