Detailed Itinerary – Family Tour in Nepal

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel.

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel. You can stroll around Thamel in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu and Drive to Nagarkot

After an early breakfast, we start our sightseeing tour of Kathmandu with a local guide. The journey begins with a pilgrimage to the holy temple of Pashupatinath, revered by Hindu devotees all over the world.

We then make our way to the spectacular Kathmandu or Basantapur Durbar Square which houses many architectural landmarks and temples. Basantapur Durbar Square also houses the famous Hanuman Dhoka museum and the Kumari Ghar. The tour then leads us to the famous Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), which is a small hike away.

Moreover, you can observe the magnificent sunset overlooking the entire Kathmandu valley from the Swayambhunath viewpoint. After arriving at Pokhara, we will stay at a hotel in Lakeside. The beautiful lake city of Pokhara is simply breathtaking. You can hike to the famous World Peace Pagoda (Stupa) and watch the Himalayan sunset from a viewpoint. Finally, you can relax and chill around the cafes in the evening. We will spend the night at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 5: Drive to Sarangkot for Sunrise View, Sightseeing Tour of Pokhara.

Early in the morning, we start our drive to Sarangkot from Pokhara. The Himalayan sunrise overlooking the entire city will enchant you. We then return to the town for the sightseeing tour of the various attraction points.

Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner

After breakfast, we will start our drive back to the capital city of Kathmandu from Pokhara. It takes around 7-8 hours to complete the scenic drive as we pass through the winding hilly roads.
