Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1310m)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. You can stroll around the city in the evening and stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Full-day Kathmandu exploration, Drive to Nagarkot in the Evening (1.5 hrs)

After breakfast, a professional guide will take you on a guided tour of the ancient Kathmandu valley. The seven world heritage sites listed by UNESCO in Kathmandu are amazing. The medieval durbar squares of Basantapur, Patan, and Bhaktapur are open museums.

The heritage walk to the ancient settlements of the Newar community is a highlight of the trek. You can also taste the delicious cuisine of the Newar community, including Aila (a local wine). The pagoda-style temples of Pashupatinath and the stupas of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath (monkey temple) are fantastic.

In the evening, we hike to the beautiful Swayambhunath stupa and observed the beautiful sunset. We drive to Nagarkot on a scenic route and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 03: Sunrise from Nagarkot, Explore Nagarkot and Drive to Dhulikhel (1.5 hrs)

After breakfast, we hike to the top of the viewpoint of Nagarkot (2100m) from where we get a spectacular view of the sunrise. The hike is 2 hours away from the hotel. The sunrise overlooking the panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains is awe-inspiring.

The view of the high Himalayan mountains, including the Langtang Lirung, Annapurna ii, Mt Everest, and Ganesh Himal range, is spectacular from Nagarkot. After breakfast, we drive back to Dhulikhel. You can stay at a hotel in Dhulikhel.

Day 04: Explore Dhulikhel and Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we start our tour of Dhulikhel and its surroundings. You can watch the Langtang Lirung (7227m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Gauri Shankar (7134m), Melungtse (7181m), Number (5945m), and others.

You can also visit the sacred stupa at Namobuddha, which is a 12km drive away or a three-hour walk south. You will get driven back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Farewell Day

After a wonderful trip of 5 days, our journey comes to an official end. You will get driven to the airport from the hotel. You can then board a flight to your desired destination.

The massive stupa has two eyes of Buddha, which gives a message of peace all over the world. There are many restaurants, Thangka painting galleries, and other attractions around the premises of Boudhanath.

Swayambhunath

Nagarkot

Nagarkot (2100m) is a viewpoint famous for its stunning sunrise and sunset view. The hill point is 32 km away from Kathmandu city and is a popular getaway destination. Many tourists, as well as locals, flock to the place on weekends.
