10 Days Nepal Tour: Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu, Nepal (1310m)
Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will get transferred to the hotel. You can stroll around the city in the evening, and you can stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, we go on a sightseeing tour of the mystical Kathmandu valley. There are many world heritage sites listed by UNESCO in Kathmandu. The Durbar Squares of Kathmandu valley include Basantapur Durbar square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
A heritage expert will guide you to the alleyways of the unique architectural settlements of Newars around the durbar squares. You can taste the delicious cuisine of the Newar community. The tour is also an excellent opportunity for the pilgrimage of the religious site of Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (monkey temple).
We climb to the top of the Swayambhunath stupa and observed the beautiful sunset overlooking the entire Kathmandu valley. We then drive back and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to River Fun Beach Resort (2 Hrs), Rafting at Trishuli River
After breakfast, we drive to the banks of the pristine Trishuli river for the White River Rafting adventure. Trishuli river has different grades in different conditions, and you can choose if you want a calm or adventurous rafting experience. The starting point of our rafting is the village of Charaudi.
Rafting in Trishuli is an incredible adventure. We stop at various checkpoints and observe the rugged gorges and landscapes of the place. We have our lunch at “ladies point” checkpoint, we continue our journey to our destination of River Fun Beach Resort.
In the evening, we have a warm buffet, and we also experience a fun atmosphere by singing and dancing activities. We camp around the campfire at the private beach of River Fun Beach Resort and stay overnight.
Day 04: River Fun Beach Resort to Sauraha, Chitwan (2 hrs drive)
After breakfast, we drive to Sauraha for the Jungle Safari adventure at Chitwan National Park. There you can also canoe in the Rapti river. The pristine river is an essential site for adventure sports.
We observe the beautiful landscapes of terai. The Tharu community local group organizes a Tharu cultural dance in the evening. You can also taste the delicious Tharu cuisines.
Day 05: National Park Activities
The Chitwan National Park is famous for its jungle safaris. We experience the endangered wildlife species of Chitwan National Park. The one-horned rhino and the Royal Bengal tiger sanctuary is the highlight of the national park and works in conservation of these rare species. You can either take the old school Elephant Safari or a modern Jeep safari.
There you can observe the one-horned rhino and royal Bengal tigers. Jungle Safari in moderate and favourable temperatures is pleasant in Chitwan. After an enjoyable jungle safari experience, we return to the hotel to stay overnight.
Day 06: Chitwan to Lumbini (3 hrs drive), Lumbini Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will take a 3-hour drive to the beautiful Lumbini. After arriving at Lumbini, we will go on a Lumbini sightseeing tour that takes you to the famous religious landmarks of the place, including Lord Buddha’s birthplace, Maya Devi Garden. Japanese temple, Ashoka pillar.
You can also visit various temples like the Chinese temple, Vietnam Temple, and many more other Buddha temples from different countries. We also observe the beautiful and peaceful atmosphere of the place. We stay overnight at a hotel in Lumbini.
Day 07: Lumbini to Pokhara (6 hrs drive)
After breakfast, we take a scenic 6-hour drive to Pokhara. The beautiful Pokhara city has the quaint charm of its own and is famous for its beautiful, spectacular landscapes and tourist spots. After arriving at the town, we rest and stroll around the lakeside area in the evening.
Day 08: Pokhara Sightseeing Tour, Sarangkot Hike and Sunrise View
After breakfast, we go on a short drive to the Sarangkot hill station where we observe the beautiful sunrise. The view of the sunrise overlooking the snow-capped mountains is spectacular.
We then drive back to Pokhara city and go on a sightseeing tour of the landmarks like Mahendra cave, Davis falls, Chamero cave, world peace pagoda and others. We then return to our hotel for lunch and stroll around the lakeside beach of the pristine Phewa lake in the evening.
Day 09: Drive or Fly back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we take an early morning flight or a scenic drive to Kathmandu from Pokhara. You can stroll around the city in the evening and relax at the tourist hub of Thamel and experience the nightlife. You will stay at the hotel in the evening.
Day 10: Final Departure
After an incredible 10 days at the beautiful Himalayan nation, our representative will drive you to the airport, and you can board a flight to your desired destination

Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a UNESCO listed World Heritage site with many temples and palaces. The Kasthamandap temple, Taleju temple, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, is the primary architectural monuments of Kathmandu Durbar Square. Besides that, you can observe the stunning Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess Kumari), and stay blessings from the goddess Kumari.
Patan Durbar Square

Boudhanath Stupa is a sacred site for Tibetan Buddhists. The surrounding area of Boudhanath is also known as Little Tibet. There are more than 50 thousand Tibetan refugees in the area. The two eyes of Lord Buddha in the stupa denotes the message of peace to all over the world. There are many restaurants, hotels, and Thangka galleries around Boudhanath.
Swayambhunath is a sacred site for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. Located at the top of a hill the shrine of Swayambhunath is a famous landmark in the city. The view of the Kathmandu valley is spectacular from the top of the hill. Swayambhunath stupa is also known as the monkey temple since the stupa houses many monkeys.
Lumbini is a famous tourist destination visited bu Buddhist devotees and pilgrims from all over the world. Lumbini boats of many shrines of various stages of Buddha’s life, including the birthplace of Lord buddha.
The place where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam is a sacred site for all Buddhists around the world. The famous Ashoka pillar is proof between the linkage of Lumbini with Buddha.
